On 21 April we welcomed 132 outstanding undergraduates to the East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf, London, for the 2023 targetjobs Undergraduate of The Year finals.
This year, we received a record breaking 5,000 submissions from more than 150 universities in fields such as construction and engineering; maths, physics and economics; law, and, for the first time, AI and Robotics. As ever, awards were also given to exceptional students in underrepresented groups, including those of black heritage, LGBT+ students, neurodivergent individuals, and young activists.
Back by popular demand, for the second year running, comedian and presenter Sue Perkins revealed the names of the 13 winners. Each of them was presented with an exclusive prize from one of our employer partners, including paid internships and opportunities to spend time with senior executives from our supporting organisations.
