The 19th annual targetjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards took place on 23rd March at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, hosted by television and radio presenter, Rylan Clark.
Over 1,000 industry professionals gathered once again to celebrate the outstanding achievements of employer and university early careers teams. The awards offer a platform to celebrate skilled individuals and teams who are making a significant impact in our sector.
29 awards were distributed on the night – 14 sector awards, based on over 100,000 student votes from Cibyl’s UK graduate recruitment research - and 13 panel awards including best diversity and inclusion strategy, and best onboarding experience - judged by students and industry professionals. Over 300 entries were received for the panel awards this year, which reflects the passion and commitment of the individuals and teams working in our sector.
The AGCAS award for excellence in careers and employability service engagement was won by Brindis, nominated by Nottingham Trent University. And for the sixth consecutive year, IBM clinched the Graduate Employer of the Year Award.
This year, there was a new award for the HE careers and employability team of the year award, which was won by Falmouth University, and the early careers professional of the year award was won by Kate Ross from IBM.
