The 16th annual gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards evening took place in The Mansion House, Dublin on Thursday 28 April 2022. Over 400 guests from the graduate employer and early careers development community gathered to celebrate excellence and innovation in graduate recruitment.
This year’s event felt particularly special after three years of postponement due to the pandemic and was the first time many of the guests had been at a large-scale event since lockdown began. Equally special was Ukrainian star, Maryna Odolska, singing in person.
Awards were announced for 14 industry sectors, determined by a survey of 20,000 university students to identify the most popular organisations. The research was carried out by Cibyl Graduate Research Ireland.
Also announced were the winners of 11 specialist award categories recognising excellence and innovation in graduate recruitment, determined by an expert panel.
A further three awards from the Association of Higher Education Careers Services (AHECS) were announced for universities and colleges for innovation and partnership in careers services.

The awards this year also celebrated equality, diversity and social mobility in early careers recruitment and employment opportunities.”
