The theme for Breakfast News 2022 will be A Year of Partnerships.
As we move beyond the experiences of the last two years, we’re going to explore how collaboration is shaping the future of early careers, and strengthening relationships between employers, educators, service and platform providers and the next generation of talent. We’ll explore what’s happening right now in the world of early careers; highlight future opportunities you may not yet have thought of and lead the debate on emerging trends.
Breakfast News is one of the UK’s leading early careers industry network events – bringing together early talent recruiters, recruitment marketing agencies and universities to discuss the most topical and relevant issues facing the sector.
Now entering its fifteenth year, Breakfast News is more popular than ever. The move online during 2021 has enabled GTI to expand the reach of Breakfast News further than ever before, with up to 500 industry professionals registering for each of the events last year.
GTI has renewed its partnership with Blackbridge Communications for another year following a successful run of events in 2021. Last year Breakfast News welcomed paralympian Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, minister of state Caroline Dinenage, global teacher prize winner Andria Zafirakou, and social media sensation Jackie Weaver amongst its keynotes.
GTI and Blackbridge are planning to build on this success in 2022 with another programme of events that focus on the most topical and relevant issues facing the early careers and graduate recruitment sector, and another raft of inspirational speakers, including the return of business and economics journalist Declan Curry as a regular speaker, alongside representatives from the Institute of Student Employers (ISE).
Simon Rogers, GTI chief customer officer, added: “We’re looking forward to extending this important partnership with Blackbridge to continue to create excellent, relevant content for employers and universities through this event. We'll explore the spirit of collaboration and co-creation in the early careers space to provide the best outcomes for young people and all involved in the sector.”
Tony Andrews, director of Blackbridge Communications said: “We couldn’t be happier to renew our partnership with GTI. We believe that early careers is still far and away the most exciting, rewarding and fun area of recruitment and that’s what we aim to reflect in each and every Breakfast News.”
