New! TARGETjobs 2020 print titles, and fresh online content

Ready for autumn… the TARGETjobs 2020 sector print titles should all be with you by now, as should the UK 300. Packed with careers advice and employer information, these are essential reading for students interested in working in consulting, finance, engineering, IT and property. Joining these next month will be our law and teaching titles. We think they look and read better than ever!

We’ve also got some great new content online on a wide variety of subjects,  including tips on structuring your job hunt after graduation, how to get a graduate job working with refugees and an insight into working in video production. And although the show may be over for this year, fans will be pleased to discover eight career lessons you can learn from Love Island.

Students' salary expectations increase year on year

In 2019, Trendence Research UK discovered that the average expected salary for UK undergraduates is £28,822. This is a 13% increase since 2018, where the expected salary was £25,562.

While expectations are higher, there are still some clear gaps in expectation among different student groups. For example, male students expect to earn 14% more than females, with the gap widening this year (9% in 2018).
