Latest editorial updates on

While our editorial team are busy putting together the 2018 TARGETjobs series, work still continues online. There are two new articles live on the TARGETjobs Engineering site, both aimed at female students considering a career in engineering. Top female engineers give students their tips for graduate career success does just that and is based on advice given at our Future female engineers networking events, while Female engineers find the way to career success from 'inspiring' event gives a feel for what the day involves and what to expect at future events. Meanwhile, our TARGETjobs IT editor has uploaded a fascinating interview with Miriam Howe, cyber security expert at BAE Systems, about her career.

Update from TARGETjobs events

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for your involvement with TARGETjobs events this year. This academic year, the team have delivered more than 25 bespoke events and awards with almost 10,000 applications and 2,500 attendees from over 175 higher education institutions. This success would not be possible without the help and support we receive from university careers services and departments, so thank you very much!

We are underway with our first event of the 2017/18 series; City law for ethnic minorities took place this month with wonderful views of Canary Wharf and some of the top leading City Law firms in London. The rest of the 2017/18 events series will go live in August and we will be in touch with you over the next couple of weeks to discuss how best to promote these opportunities over the summer, but in the meantime please visit for more information.

New service from TARGETconnect

This summer we will launch a new job distributions service, designed to address employer frustration at having to post their jobs to each university website, individually. For them it’s a time-consuming process and for you it means your students are missing out on job opportunities, as the will to keep posting leaves the employer. This new service from GTI will post jobs direct to the job board of a university’s TARGETconnect system for a small administrative charge to the employer. You will now be able to see how your students are interacting with this wider span of jobs.
