The Office for Students (OfS) has just announced that 30 English universities will share an £8.1 million fund to invest in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science postgraduate conversion course scholarships to increase diversity. The programme seeks to address skills gaps in the tech sector, particularly among underrepresented groups such as black individuals, women, those with registered disabilities, and those from low socio-economic backgrounds.
