PWC, HSBC, J.P.MORGAN AND BARCLAYS ARE THE STAR PERFORMERS AT EUROPE’S LARGEST GRADUATE RECRUITMENT AWARDS NIGHT

The Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London was host last night to the annual TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards, the largest graduate recruitment event in Europe, now in its eleventh year. The awards were presented by Lenny Henry and attended by around 1,400 guests from the world of graduate recruitment. The headline sponsor of the TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2015 was National Grid.
The TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards are student-driven awards. A record number of 40,000 students and recent graduates from 120 different universities took part in a national survey, conducted each year by international research firm trendence, which identified the most popular graduate recruiters in 15 sectors of work, including three financial sectors. 
The three Finance Sector award winners were:
•    PwC won the Accounting and financial management award, sponsored by ICAEW. Runner-up was Deloitte and in third place KPMG
•    HSBC won the Banking, insurance and financial services award, sponsored by FSCS. Runner-up was Bank Of England and in third place Barclays
•    J.P.Morgan won the Investment banking and investment award, sponsored by Bloomberg Institute. Runner-up was Goldman Sachs and in third place Barclays
It was a great night too for Barclays who won three awards on the night: Best apprenticeship programme; Best school-leaver programme; Apprentice of the Year
